Canon EOS 6D best price and My Review

All make this camera a great deal! I have this camera and have been... If everything functioned as it should, I would give this 5 stars - the high ISO, the full frame, the price, all make this camera a great deal! I have this camera and have been using it for about a year now. I'm a wedding photographer and really debated between this one and the Mark III, but went with this one because most of the better things on the Mark III, I can live without. Having high ISO was a good upgrade for me. I can shoot in almost complete darkness! I never have to worry in case my flash decides not to work one day!
I will say, I've never shot with the Mark III, so I can't totally compare them, but for someone who isn't making their living off of weddings just yet, this camera has proved invaluable! It does seem a little weird that it used SD cards instead of CF cards, but honestly, it doesn't make much of a difference to me - just be sure to get the fast cards and you'll be fine!
For the things that have gone wrong: only 2 small things. My white balance seems awful when shooting inside. I know I can manually do the white balance, but in some of my pictures, it shows half of the image almost a yellow color. This does not happen often, and never happens if using flash, only when not using flash. I don't know if it's something I'm doing or not, but I never had that happen with my old camera. The other problem that has happened is 2 times my camera has "errored" out. It says ERR on the display and won't work anymore. Shutting it off and turning it back on does not fix this issue. I have to take the battery out and put it back in to get it to work again and then it's fine. I'm sure if I sent my camera in to get it fixed, there's an easy fix, but who wants to be without their camera?? I need it! Perhaps sometime this winter I will send it in and see what the issue is!
Besides feeling slightly cheaper
Besides feeling slightly cheaper (and lacking great video capabilities) than it's big 5D mark III Brother. The 6D lacks nothing in photo quality or awesome features! the Wifi is really actually quite useful! (not super easy to set up though. But i can't emphasis how nice and crisp the photos look!
granted my 17-55mm f2.8 doesn't work on it...Gotta save for some new glass but that doesn't matter it is Great fun to use and it is light weight which is wonderful for weddings, and all day photoshoots! But despite this weight reduction it is still very firm and sturdy in quality and in "grip-ability".
as I said the video...isn't fantastic there is a lot of important parts "video" wise that were left out from the 6D but I am a photographer not a videographer. I have a 7D for all my video needs! Great camera for me!
